Biography of Ani Konchok Drolkar Wangmo
Ani Konchok Drolkar Wangmo was born in small New England town in 1949. She moved to Florida in the 1960's and graduated from the University Of South Florida with a BA in Anthropology in the early 70"s.
She studied many schools and forms of Buddhism during the 1970's and 80"s. Upon encountering the Drikung Kagyu lineage and teachers,she took Refuge and studied under the Venerable Khenchen Rinpoche, Konchog Gyaltshen, her root Lama. Some of her other teachers include: His Eminence Garchen Thriptul Rinpoche, Drupon Sampten Rinpoche, Khenmo Konchog Trinlay Chodren Karuna, and Lama Konchok Sonam.
Ani Wangmo was ordained in 2002 by the Venerable Khenchen Rinpoche, Konchog Gyaltshen. In 2007, she was requested to teach by Khenmo Konchog Trinlay Chodren Karuna and Lama Konchok Sonam. She teaches out of Katsel Shenphen Dhargye Cho Ling, the Residence of Thadag Tulku Rinpoche. Her life is dedicated to the Dharma and the Drikung Kagyu Lineage. She continues to study and practice for the benefit of all sentient beings.
